If it loses Mouse control just move the mouse to another Port to change back but on another Ports set (PCIe Card or Front). OR it is the VIA one as that has specific chipset non-Intel which is probably the Front Ports as eXtensibles. The HUBs probably have no other to select. Good luck - but you may just get it to work albeit with same flashes/blackouts for now.
